Accounts Assistant - Fulltime permanent position

We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant within our head office in Clonee. You will work as part of a small team, reporting to the Area Finance Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain experience across the full accounts function.

Main purpose of the position is to do the following:


·     Raise and send invoices and supplier statements

·     Raise and send credit notes

·     Debt chasing via telephone, letter and email

·     Respond to customer queries and take responsibility for their resolution

·     Keep management informed of potential debtor issues

·     Account and statement reconciliations

·     Debtors ledger maintenance

·     Assist the Payroll Administrator with the fortnightly payroll

·     Respond to employee payroll queries

·     Process expenses

·     Set up new employees and remove leavers

·     Provide cover for colleagues during absence for holidays and sickness



·     Experience in an accounts role

·     Proficiency in MS Excel and Word

·     Good communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external personnel

·     Ability to work under pressure within a team environment

·     Ability to meet deadlines and targets

·     Self-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment

·     Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills
