Working closely with Protective Services Operations Managers and Protective Services Branch Managers, Ray ensures that scheduling, rostering, and resourcing remain stable and effective across the organisation. His proactive, solution-focused approach allows him to anticipate potential challenges before they arise and address them quickly to maintain seamless service delivery for clients.

The Communications Centre is often the first point of contact for employees across the business. From shift changes and sick calls to unexpected incidents and personal matters, Ray manages each interaction with empathy, confidentiality, and discretion.
His balanced and professional approach ensures employees feel supported while operational continuity is maintained. When required, he escalates matters appropriately to line management or HR, ensuring the right support structures are in place.

Throughout 2025, Ray played a key leadership role in several major operational developments, including:
- Supporting the 2025–2026 roster transition for the blue-chip client account, ensuring smooth and effective implementation.
- Leading the Communications Centre through a period of organisational and operational change.
- Coordinating the rapid escalation of multiple critical onsite incidents, enabling swift responses that protected employees and client property.
- Supporting the transition to a new dispatch platform, including system testing, team training, and implementation planning.
- Maintaining full roster coverage while managing annual leave, scheduling challenges, and operational demands.
His attention to detail and proactive management ensure the Communications Centre remains fully operational at all times.
