Security Supervisor - Castletroy

Job Description

• To lead and direct a team of Security Officers in line with the site Assignment Instructions.
• Responsible for rostering staff and ensuring that the site is fully staffed at all times by liaising closely with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager.
• To assist with the recruitment of Security Officers as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Responsible for completing timely reporting as directed by the Branch Manager.
• To provide a first point of contact for all visitors, contractors and staff to the site.
• Provide guidance and help to all visitors, contractors and staff to the site.
• To maintain the security of the staff, premises and perimeter.
• To use CCTV for monitoring (where applicable).
• To provide reports and make recommendations following any incidents.
• To reduce all health and safety risks of by adopting a proactive approach to potential incidents.
• When required, implement the site policy to withdraw access to the site by way of escorting from premises or refusing admission.
• To make recommendations to improve security if required.
• To uphold the Health and Safety and policies of Securitas Security Services Limited.
• Any other duties that may be required

Qualifications

• PSA Licence 
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
• Fluent English essential
• Good level of P.C. skills
• Previous experience desirable
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Manual handling - Desirable
• Own Transport Desirable
