Receptions Security Solutions

A security officer can perform a combination of services including access control/reception and customer service and customer care. With these officer's we can begin to safeguard your employees, your business and your customer relationships.

Our reception officers combine a thorough security approach with professional courtesy, making them an active part of your physical security.

Front of the house

A company’s own staff, visitors and suppliers all pass by the reception desk on a daily basis. This means that the demands for both robust security and professional courtesy are high.

The reception desk and receptionists is often the first thing that visitors encounter when they arrive at a company. Therefore, we attach great importance to recruitment for our reception services. We offer a combined service where a reception officer takes care of your visitors in a service-oriented, professional manner while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and security.

Our reception officers are trained in our approach to security – for example, noticing things that deviate from the norm and detecting and preventing risk situations. Our training also prepares them to intervene if anything should occur, such as a case of illness, fire or evacuation.

Guard uniforms or civil uniforms

We perform reception assignments in guard uniforms or civil uniforms (which have no guard insignia), depending on which solution is best suited to your company’s image. The guard service badge is not the important thing here; our reception officers have exactly the same training and expertise regardless of whether or not you choose to have us provide staff in civil uniform.

Telephone switchboard and customer service

Do you want us to take care of your visitors and customers as well? We also provide staff for telephone switchboards and customer service, and can easily combine these services with our reception service.

Night porters

Securitas’ night porters are specially selected and trained hotel officers who provide combined security and guest service. The guards staff the hotel reception desk at night, and in addition to the ordinary duties of a night porter they also perform preventive security checks and patrols – for example, checking on the operation and maintenance of fire protection.

Securitas’ night porters are well acquainted with most reservation systems, have a good command of English and are well qualified to be the public face of a hotel when its own staff are not on duty.

The service is a cost-effective solution for a hotel’s night operations and reinforce the hotel’s sense of safety.
